I’m Pule.
(pool-eh) / FILMMAKER. FATHER. STORYTELLER.
Born and raised in Samoa, now based in Utah. My roots taught me to value people, culture, and the stories we carry with us. That’s the heart of Tropical Film.
I started with wedding films and brought that same love of storytelling to sports and documentary work. From a quiet vow to a game-changing play, I look for the feeling behind the moment.
I want you to feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll get to know each other, make a plan, and create a film that feels like you.

Parent and groom first looks can be planned on your wedding day, at your bridal session, or across both dates.
Coverage follows your agreed timeline within the booked hours. Ceremony, speech and first-dance films include the events captured during that coverage. Session dates and Platinum’s second filmmaker are confirmed before booking. The same travel policy applies to each filming date.

Up to 6 continuous coverage hours and 4 selected games per day, whichever limit is reached first. Coverage follows one team or one scheduled court/field at a time. Planning, filming, color and sound finishing, music licensed for the agreed use, digital delivery, and one consolidated round of minor edits. One filmmaker unless your quote specifies an additional crew. Delivery dates are agreed before booking.

A clear plan

Less than 60 minutes each way? Travel is included in your package.
For a location 60 minutes or more away, the travel fee is $0.50 per round-trip mile + $30 per round-trip driving hour, with a $125 minimum per round trip. The total is rounded up to the next $5.
The fee covers fuel, vehicle costs, and time on the road. Once the one-hour threshold is reached, the fee uses the full journey from Roy and back.

Multi-day tournaments
Daily returns to Roy are charged per round trip. With an overnight stay, the outward and return legs are charged once, plus local hotel-to-venue travel. You won’t be billed for daily Roy commutes that don’t happen.
Overnight & destination work
For drives of 3+ hours each way or early/late schedules, lodging may be needed. Lodging, parking, tolls, flights, and rental vehicles are itemized at cost and agreed in advance. No road mileage fee applies to a flight leg.
One quote before you book
Multiple venues, extra crew, and longer journeys receive a route-specific quote. Your agreed travel price is fixed for that booking unless you change the itinerary. Package prices are separate from chargeable travel and any applicable taxes.
